Meet the Artists

darrynpicDARRYN SILVER remains in disbelief of her first acrylic painting. During the process of creating the painting, she observed her left brain ( critical mind) pushing to take over and admonish the process. Since Darryn practices what she preaches, she resumed the creation through the playfulness of her right brain. Allowing the imagination and creative energy to flow through her, she connected to her soulful self and designed a magnificent manifestation of her free spirit.
KIRK HEAD SHOTKIRK MURDOCH grew up in Irvington, NJ with a passion to be a Rock n’ Roll singer. His older brother influenced and nurtured his passion for music. Due to life circumstances beyond his control, his survival beckoned him to follow a more practical route but his passion for artistic endeavors never ceased to exist. He never knew he had talent in the arena of art. When he met his wife in 2000, she was making playful birthday cards for friends. Kirk sat down doodling along side her and she exclaimed ”Wow, you have an innate talent.” It was not until 2011, after Kirk survived a life challenging illness, that he started to paint and throw his heart and soul into his works. Kirk is colorblind but has an intuitive sixth sense with color and, by painting, encourages others to tap into their link to their souls.
JORDYN SILVER is a high school student who has an eye for an unusual deliberate design. She enjoys experimenting with contrast and challenging the eye of the viewer. She holds an optimist view of the world and has undying compassion for animals. She is a avid gymnast and has competed in Nationals for 2 years in a row, loves the energy of the west coast of the US and is exploring many creative avenues for her future.
